Features & Performance: Watching DVDs on the Panasonic SC-PT760 was pretty impressive. The images were crisp and clear and the audio produced was surprisingly good. Even the wireless rear speakers produced great sounds (it was located about 15 feet away from the central unit). The surround sound effects were great and the good quality held its own even with the volume cranked up. The disc tray loads pretty fast too for a 5-disc changer. The audio quality of CDs was decent, but not spectacular. The sounds produced somehow seemed subdued.
Overall: Considering the price range, performance and specs of the Panasonic SC-PT760, this set may prove to be a pretty good buy for those who don’t want to spend a fortune on a sound system. This Panasonic Home Theater system fairs pretty well for a sound system of its class.
