Entertain Reaching Stars

Passion, Purpose, Position: Pluto’s First House Placement of Pivotal Power!

6 min read

I enjoy the subject of astrology and most especially the MODE Cosmic Therapy humanistic, psycho-analytic delving into the intricacies involved. I enjoy it, not only because it entertains and educates, but because I thoroughly love dissecting interlocking various mathematical patterns and geometric relationships. Yes, angular patterns. Everything that exists occurs because of the various different patterns associated.

The pattern of water H2O (water) is different from NaCl (salt); yet both are necessary in their own sphere of influence and function; most especially, in the electro-magnetic roles they play in the human body. So, too, are the spiraling patterns linked to bring about certain functions by their specific positions -in the galaxies- whose radiating subatomic-ionic measure influence us by their specified orbits.

Take the influence of Pluto (Scorpio) for instance. Everyone has Pluto located somewhere in his/her astrological natal chart. However, dominating Pluto people those who have Pluto located in the first house are considered to be too egotistical, skeptical, and harsh. There is seldom any pity felt for them when damning consequences result from their brusque actions. Confrontation proves to be training ground they welcome. Most people say they are nothing short of evil.

Others will say “Well, he (or she) deserves it, since he (or she) brought it on himself (or herself)”. Unfortunately, Pluto ruled first house people are not necessarily aware of what they did or do to bring ‘things’ on themselves. They simply want things and people to be brought into the light! They abhor falsity. And, because they do so love to expose devious motivations, in themselves and others, they will stop at nothing to achieve the task of bringing phonies to light.

Today, as I am discussing Pluto’s position and influence in the first house of the astrological natal chart, I am starkly reminded that it is solely due to the probing power of Pluto that any of us question our purpose for being alive on planet Earth. How could it be that this small (seemingly inconsequential remote planet) subject the human race to such blatant unrest?

The subject of death, which immediately lays the groundwork in the realm of Pluto, astrologically, drives us to uncover what we possibly can to illuminate the matter. Superficiality will not suffice when brought before the master of death. Incidentally, regarding the natal chart, if Pluto is close to the Ascendant, the journey and delivery of the birth is involved in somewhat of a crucial life and death struggle.

The mother was undergoing an ongoing trans-formative phase- when the child was born-which entailed deception and marked dissatisfaction. Even though the birth may not have brought about a literal death, the mother is forever changed and linked irrevocably to the child in life changing struggles. A turning point in her life; no doubt

The relationship with mother and child is so intertwined and formidably joined, though somewhat elusively disguised, remains identical in make-up. The child will possess an irresolute fear of the impending doomed motivations in people, in as much, as trusting them will be an ongoing issue.

We all instinctively feel the subconsciously penetrative influence of Pluto (Scorpio) but usually deny its transformational range of emotions!

Sometimes, due to this inability to pretend for long, first house Pluto ruled people will quickly close the door to the immovable, frustrating past, and perseveringly, though, grudgingly, go on. Friendships and connections are severed entirely, with little chance of reviving. Labeled either a ‘loser’ or an egomaniac, this person can simply disappear from the scene, altogether.

Indeed, the Pluto native is often hard to find and pin down, anyway – but under times of self-generated stress- he or she can simply vanish, leaving no forwarding address or any clues to his or her whereabouts.

The Pluto first house person is intensely self-critical and, much like a harping parent continuously tries to redo him or herself. Inner responses to self-criticism create crises and personal overhauls in the personality, as well as in the surrounding events and environment of the person. This individual finds it hard to know when to stop belittling himself or herself.

Ultimately, after trying to avoid the continuous hassle and pain of the self-overhaul the Pluto person semi-self-destructs through negating punishment. The lifestyle will seem to become a consuming landslide, pulling this native down to the pits, to the bottom-where the wailing and gnashing of teeth is heard, and experienced.

This ‘all or nothing’ kind of living creates alarming situations that don’t seem to stop, but only help to continue the devastating momentum. In some cases, the individuals lose their sources of income, their homes, their lifestyles, relationships, everything; and have to fiercely struggle in order to start over doing something else. Others will avoid these people, fearing that the landslide could be ‘catching’ – that it might affect them.

I could go on for hours about the direct enigmatic influence of Pluto’s dynamic position found in the first house of a person’s natal chart. Let us just say: “crises” becomes the name/path of the individual. And, unless you enjoy the ripping to pieces every single underlying motive, stay clear! Of course, not every first house Pluto native has this particular problem of unrelenting crises; some will simply sulk, balk and boomerang.

But, EVERY single Pluto ruled person will generally be a very private person! Few people, if any, will get to know this person, intimately. During gregarious times of personality, a certain danger is attached. With this aura of alluring excitement around the Pluto native, which suggests that here is someone who lives life very richly and excitingly, the sign reads, “Enter At Thy Own Risk!”

Being around such a person can lend an aura of glamor to one’s life but not without exacting a steep price. Others feel somewhat intimidated, hesitant to ‘buy into’ the sheer raw power expressed.

Needless to say, the Pluto first house person acts with the skill of an adept magician, and that’s what magnetically attracts others. Somehow, others simply know that the power of this person can and DOES bring into his or her life anything she / he wants – anything!

The Scorpio focus of awareness is deep, and the sense of crystal-clear, unhampered, intense, dynamic, powerful inner motivations can tap into and DRAW from the attracting resources of the universe. Using clarified desire, the essential nature of Scorpio spawns that magical innate ability into reality.

The native can experience life intensely in the moment, and is extraordinarily perceptive. But, NOT when second-guessing is brought on the home front! Like a hawk or an eagle, people with first house Pluto are aware of their environment, and of how that environment reflects their own nature. They can live life with excitement, involved in unraveling the mystery of reality, and exploring their own magical resources – of which there are many!

Physical manifestations in the reality of the Pluto first house person include several up-rootings throughout life, least, of all prison time such as moves to other and perhaps distant locations, which could involve the altering of family/home situations. There can be danger of bizarre accidents, particularly during a Pluto transit of the first house. Sudden unexplained illnesses have a tendency to show up revealing deeply imbedded psychological difficulties.

Most often, however, there is simply a withdrawal from outer social events, a tendency to prefer seclusion or a reclusive way of life. Physical problems (ranging anywhere form alcohol/drug addiction to mental breakdowns) can absorb a great deal of time in treatment; and the native is often not averse to using any new technological or occult methods, making his or her body a testing laboratory, so to speak. He wants to KNOW, without question, what he is able to endure!

“Daring Risks” will be the motorcycle of choice to ride in order to compensate! Ruthlessly determined to PROVE something, these folks bow down to no one at no time! No stranger to disaster, protection and self-preservation- at all costs-rules them. Physically fit, they barricade themselves against inevitable desolation. They are loners who find it difficult to co-operate with others who are merely playing idiotic games.

No one can match their treacherous need to be in control and dominate. No stranger to the face of terrorizing demons, either, they back down from nothing. Thus spoke Pluto in the first house of the natal chart.
